Brooks leads Richard P. Slaughter Associates as President and Chief Investment Officer, providing strategic leadership while ensuring the firm upholds the highest fiduciary standards and delivers exceptional client service and advice. As Chair of the Investment Committee, he oversees the company’s investment philosophy and designs portfolio strategies tailored to achieve each client’s unique vision of success through True Wealth Management.
With more than 30 years of industry experience and deep roots in both wealth management and engineering, including his background as an engineer with NASA, Brooks brings analytical rigor and an innovative mindset to every client relationship. Having guided clients through every financial situation imaginable as a Senior Wealth Advisor, he draws on this extensive experience to help clients make informed decisions based on the outcomes of similar client situations over the years.
He is known for his hands-on leadership and ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams, ensuring that the firm’s team-based approach translates into customized, proactive solutions for clients in areas including investment selection, risk management, and long-term planning.
